Everything we said he has done, are verifiable; you can go and see for yourself or send someone and confirm. We don't lie, we don't deceive our people, we don't play politics with governance, and will NEVER do that.
Yes, Faulks road is bad, very bad, and it has been like that before Governor Ikpeazu was elected. but the contract to fix the road in a way it will last for decades has been awarded to Setraco Construction Limited. In a little while Setraco will be on site.
Port Harcourt Road Aba is also very bad, and it's been like that before Dr Okezie Ikpeazu came, but Abia State Government, led by Dr Ikpeazu is in advanced negotiations with African Development Bank AfDB and Federal Ministry of Works on the funding of the reconstruction of that road even though it is actually a federal road. The processes are expected to be concluded in a little while but steps will be taken to execute emergency repairs to make it motor able in the short run.
Ohanku and Obohia roads were included among roads that Governor Ikpeazu wanted to construct within the first 100 days of his assumption of office. However, it was discovered that there were subsisting contracts on the roads which NDDC had awarded. This encumbered the ability. desire and effort of Governor Ikpeazu to fix the two important roads. It is on record that the Governor told NDDC management, through its former acting MD, Ibim Seminatari, to settle their contractor so the contractor can move to site, or Abia State Government will take over the construction of the roads in 2017.
All we can tell Ndi Abia is this: if Governor Ikpeazu can do this much in 17 months, with all the distractions, he will surely do much more before 2019. We won't join issues with those who want to play politics and tell lies.
Feel free to share this post and pictures everywhere and see if any living soul in Abia will dispute that Governor Ikpeazu did not do them, all within 15 months. On the average, Dr Ikpeazu reconstructed almost 2 roads per month.
These are pictures of some of the roads the administration of Governor Ikpeazu have done so far in the state, in addition to many other things.
