ASPIMSS: Megwara Reads Riot Act To Hoodlums

The General manager of the Abia State Passenger Manifest and Safety Scheme Kingsley Megwara has warned hoodlums who parade themselves as staff of ASPIMSS in Aba and Umuahia to collect revenue from commercial vehicles to desist from such act.

Megwara said such actions have been brought to the knowledge of the scheme and have been identified as the major cause ofmincreasing road mishaps and traffic in the state.

Chief Megwara revealed that security operatives in the state have been briefed to arrest impersonators as authorized ASPIMSS revenue collectors possess valid means of identification.

The ASPIMSS boss further advised motorist to drive with caution during the ember months to reduce road accidents and to attain a hitch free festive celebration.

He called on commercial passengers to ensure they are adequately manifested for long distance travels.
