Abia leads in waec again, an offshoot of Ikpeazu's educational renaissance.

Prof. Ikechi Mgbeoji , Hon. Commissioner For Education
Quantitative and qualitative education is paramount in the continual growth and progress of any modern state such as Abia .This lofty goal cannot be attained in a vacuum, hence there are
vital roles and contributions to be made by all concerned stakeholders in that all-important sector, to help leap to unprecedented success. Undoubtedly, the government is a big player and a major policy maker on issues concerning our citadels of learning.

This is the reason why milestones or failures in the system is attributed to the government of the day.

Against this backdrop, it will not be out of place to give kudos to Governor Okezie Victor Ikpeazu led government for doing the needful in the educational sector that gave birth to Abia holding the ace in WAEC and other allied examinations.

This is a pointer to the fact that the far reaching interventions and good policies of the Ikpeazu's government in the educational sector is not a mismatch rather well tailored and articulated that
are yielding short and long run positive results.

On Abia Online Team's visit to Dority International Secondary School, Aba, one of the teachers revealed that they have been recording such impressive performance but their two outings under Governor Ikpeazu led government has been notably unequaled. She said that more than two of their candidates made parallel as well, while promising to get back to us as soon as they must have had a bird's eye view of the entire results. Commendably, the effort of the Commissioner for Education
Professor Ikechi Mgbeoji is notable, being the driver of the education initiatives of Governor Okezie Ikpeazu.

Abia is the first in the ranking of the 36 states in Nigeria, starts with the 'A' alphabet, with our God given Governor, Dr. Okezie Victor Ikpeazu, on the saddle, God's Own State will realize her full
potentials and be a reference point for good governance in Nigeria and the world over.

To our 'Great Abia Students' who have made the State proud once again by their academic wizardry, we say, more power to their elbow.
