Former Governor's son dies in auto crash

Former Governor of Oyo state, Governor Rashidi Ladoja is presently in a mourning state following the loss of his son, Adebola Ladoja who died in an auto crash on Thursday, on the Eko Bridge.
The ugly incident occurred around 3.30 p.m, when the deceased was driving towards the Lagos Island when a DAF truck driven by one  Osaghai  Justice Eko, lost control, hit the median in the middle of the road and crushed Adebola’s vehicle. 
“It took several hours before those who came to the rescue of the victim could break into the vehicle. He was trapped behind the wheel with blood gushing out of his head as a result of the impact,” an eyewitness said told pressmen.

Confirming the incident, the Lagos state PPRO, Ngozi Braide, said that the victim died on the spot, while his remains had been removed to the Lagos Island General Hospital mortuary for autopsy. She added the police had commenced investigations on the incident.
